Dear Valued PCSA Member,

As a small business owner you know the past few years have been challenging.  All of us that have successfully survived these challenges know that it took perseverance and an honest look at how we did business.  Unfortunately, our trade association has also suffered.  Our  board is currently evaluating how PCSA needs to change to emerge from these challenges as a stronger and more relevant partner to all of our members. 

After careful review and consideration, we have determined that to continue as a strong association, we need to focus only on what we do best. We thrive in providing education designed to improve the level of care in the industry, maintaining our accreditation programs and providing the latest industry news through the Pet Services Journal.  Unfortunately, PCSA has not excelled at holding an annual event. Frankly, PCSA has lost considerable money on each event and we cannot afford another loss. We, however do recognize that our annual event is an invaluable opportunity for all our members to network, learn best-practices, and to share and develop new ideas.

Therefore, other than an Intro to Pet Care, we will not be holding a fall event but are excited to announce that we have asked Laura Laaman & Associates to host an exceptional fall expo and conference for our members. Laura Laaman & Associates has been a significant supporter of our organization in the past, and due to their desire to see us thrive, are willing to help. They are in final negotiations with the hotels and are determining the level of vendor and sponsorship support.

This is a critical time for PCSA. We need our members to continue to back our association by supporting and attending this expo. We are grateful that Laura Laaman & Associates shares our passion for providing high quality pet care and is willing to try to make the fall event a reality for our members. It truly is important to the future of PCSA that this event is successful and supported by our members. 

For the past 20 years, Laura Laaman & Associates has hosted exceptional conferences for its clients and increased the success of its many pet care facility clients.
