PCSA conducts an annual auction and PCSA members participate in a fund-raising coloring contest, both of which benefit Canine Companions for Independence, an organization which trains assistance dogs for people with disabilities.

The American Animal Hospital Association is an international organization of more than 34,000 veterinary care providers who treat companion animals.
