Meet Maya Bennett

I run Pet Care Services to help dog and cat people make calmer, clearer choices.

Why I built this site

I grew up in a home where a muddy dog towel lived by the back door and cat toys appeared under every chair. Years later, I kept seeing the same problem: pet products came with loud claims, tiny labels, and very little plain help.

So I built the guide I wanted to read. I compare product details, current tests, vet-led care guidance, and real owner reports. I look for patterns, call out tradeoffs, and use short words when short words will do.

My editorial process

  1. Start with the pet's need. A large cat needs a stable perch. A scent-shy cat needs a calm litter box.
  2. Check primary facts. I use current maker pages for size, parts, price, and return terms.
  3. Look for outside checks. Lab tests, vet sources, public safety pages, and owner reports add context.
  4. Separate fact from judgment. A spec can be checked. A “best” pick is my editorial view.
  5. Update the work. Prices, formulas, and models change, so each guide carries a date.

A note on health

I am an editor, not your veterinarian. The site offers general information and shopping help. A vet who knows your pet should guide care for pain, illness, diet disease, or a sudden change.
